本次公布的角色包括团扇鼬，犬冢牙，油女志乃，天天，日向宁次，日向雏田，小李，千柿鬼鲛，连同上次公布的 7 名，共有 15 名，预定将收录 30 名以上的角色。
前作中混合了漫画、卡通动画与游戏演出，独特的“漫画火影忍者着色法(Comic Naruto Shading)”，在二代中将更加进化。本游戏继承了前代美丽且具备高度互动性的场景，可以发挥忍者飞檐走壁的特长，攀墙上树，场景中也有许多物体会在激战之中被破坏，并加入了雨水、逆光、闪电、镜头炫光 等炫烂的特效。
游戏中的人物模型并加入了“背骨(Bone)”的设计，使得每个角色都能自然的表现出驼背弯腰的姿态，游戏的运算处理技术也加以改良并提升效率，带来更加细致自然的人物动作。
