1. When is the celebration?
2. How long has the celebration existed?
3. Why does the celebration take place?
4. How do people prepare for the celebration?
5. What do people do to celebrate?
(Here’s an example.
The Running of the Bulls
For the past six centuries the Spanish have held festivals involving bulls, dancing and the drinking of red wine. The most famous festival takes place in the second week of July (from July 6 through 14) in Pamplona, a small town in the north of Spain. It is dedicated to “The Running of the Bulls” and gained world attention in Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Sun Also Rises.
The celebration is dedicated to Pamplona’s Saint Fermin, who lived in the third century AD. Fermin became a Bishop (a senior clergyman in charge of the work of the Church in a city or district 主教) of the Church but annoyed a lot of important people and was beheaded. In Pamplona he became a local hero. An annual festival was begun in his honour.
Over the years this festival combined with a practical necessity. The local bull corral (an enclosure for confining livestock 畜栏) is far from the bullring where the bullfighting takes place, so everyday the bulls would have to be transported from the corral to the bullring. The stablemen (牛倌) would run the bulls through the streets and soon others began to watch this and joined in, risking their lives.
In Pamplona the Bullfighting Fair takes place during the same week as the Festival of Saint Fermin. These two events eventually combined into a nine day long party and adventure.)

Badaling Great Wall in Beijing was built in Ming Dynasty to defence against the enermy from northwest of China.
It was used till Qing Dynasty simply to guard the boarder.
I felt TERRIFIC when I first stood at the foot of the Great Wall. There's a Chinese saying that One could never be a man until he has climbed to the top of the Great Wall. The Great Wall is called a Wonder probably because of its splendence and amazing lenth.
It covered a distance as long as 12700miles.
